This page explains how to request deletion of your Namely account and the data associated with it. Namely is published by Hog and Mole PTY LTD (trading as E2 Apps).
How to request deletion
To request that your account and associated data be deleted, send an email to hello@namelyapp.com from the email address you used to create your Namely account.
Please include the following so we can verify and action your request:
- The email address associated with your Namely account
- A clear statement that you would like your account and data deleted (e.g. "Please delete my account and all associated data")
We will action your request within 30 days and reply by email to confirm once it is complete.
What gets deleted
When you request deletion, the following data is permanently removed from our active systems:
- Your account profile (including your email address)
- Names you have generated, saved, liked or disliked
- Partner and invite connections linked to your account
- App preferences and settings
What may be retained
We may retain a limited amount of information after deletion where we are required to do so by law, or where it is necessary to prevent fraud, resolve disputes, troubleshoot problems, or enforce our terms. Any such information is isolated from further processing.
Anonymised or aggregated data that can no longer be linked to you may also be retained for analytics purposes.
Backups containing your data are automatically rotated and fully purged within 90 days of your deletion request.
Deleting just some of your data
If you would like to remove specific data without deleting your entire account, email hello@namelyapp.com and describe what you would like removed.
